On November 8, 2009, Loudoun Interfaith BRIDGES held the first Interfaith Day of Thanks at the Ida Lee Recreation Center in Leesburg to celebrate the cultural and religious diversity of Loudoun County. The event was sold out, with close to 200 attendees from a wide array of faith communities, a wonderful buffet meal provided by member congregations, musical performances, a keynote address by Deputy Director at the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships Ben O’Dell, and awards presented to youth and adult individuals who have made exemplary contributions to interfaith peace and understanding.

On December 21, individual congregations representing Jewish, Sikh and Muslim communities in Loudoun joined Christians in celebrating the winter holidays, with displays and invocations on the grounds of the Loudoun County Courthouse. The holidays that were celebrated include:
